The film certainly takes advantage of its big budget. Having been released (and taking place) six years after the series ended, 2008's I WANT TO BELIEVE scales back to deliver a classic tale, one that involves a priest who claims to have psychic visions and might remind X-philes of the franchise's small-screen tone.
