That continues to make this series successful and suspenseful., Narrator January LaVoy depicts these characters beautifully. Her Hispanic and Southern accents are superb, and she treats even minor characters with her skill and talent. The nonstop action of the thriller includes domestic dust-ups for Lindsay and Yuki as well as the impossible odds of finding a killer and getting a winning verdict in a difficult case. These characters vibrate with humanity as portrayed by LaVoy. What a great listen! Winner of the AudioFile Earphones Award.
