NotesOriginally released in 1979 under the title Lessons for the Lyra-Viol, this album is a definitive recording of works composed at the beginning of the 17th Century by William Corkine and Alfonso Ferrabosco. The title refers to one of Corkine's pieces, part of a suite dedicated to love. This album enables us to enjoy the fantastic sound of Jordi Savall playing two magnificent instruments. A solo recording full of surprises and variety.
