His trials include being blacklisted from Hollywood due to accusations of ties with Communism, and suffering amnesia from an automobile accident. Appleton's adventures include being mistaken for a long lost war hero, during which he renovates a theater known as the Majestic. The DVD version of this movie was released in 2002 and runs for 152 minutes.
