Steve Marriott, one of the key members of two hugely influential rock bands, The Small Faces and Humble Pie, lived a short life, but unlike other rock stars from his era who also met an early end, he has faded into virtual obscurity. However, he did make some of the best music of the late sixties and early seventies alongside bandmates like Peter Frampton and Rod Stewart. This documentary interviews the people who knew Marriott best and includes exclusive home video footage and previously unseen photographs of him.
