It wouldn't be a classic Japanese monster movie without two skyscraper sized reptilian beasts battling it out while innocent civilians get trampled in the scuffle, and this film delivers the goods. The acting, plot, and set design may have been touted as high budget by Toei Studios, but by the time the two prehistoric creatures are accidentally awakened, it's just a good old fashioned fight between two men in foam rubber suits. This is a fun flick, from a studio not usually known for its monsters in the same way Toho was.
