The journey, begun by the mother, is one of limits-a life lived in truth. There are many obstacles in this young mother's life-alone in the world except for her son. But this responsibility does t divert her from following her unusual path. She courageously pursues the life her heart-and her dreams-kw is right. Leaving England far behind, she takes her young son and travels to the Far East. As the mother grows to understand her higher purpose, she settles in Magelang, Java. Her spirit takes them there, but her heart makes it home. Eventually, the mother becomes ill-while the son learns to become strong. Here, he continues the path his mother started and helps her stay her course in the process.

Author BiographyLuke G. has lived his unusual mother's prophetic dream-which eventually became his own. As a young boy, he left his native home in England with his mother. She raised him in the village culture of Java, Indonesia. There he attended native schools, played native games, and became one of them. He and his mother eventually moved back to England for his schooling before finally relocating to Australia. The proximity to the Java village they both loved was critical. Luke G. currently lives in Australia with his wife and daughter. The impressions made on him by his unique life have never faded. He has a fascination with ancient India and all it has to offer. The way of life he experienced as a child is lost to time-but not to his spirit.
