About this product

Product Information

Philip Moore was abandoned outside a Bristol hospital in 1959 and was found to be suffering from Polio in both legs. He spent the first eight years of his life in hospital with no awareness of any family identity. Finally fostered and sent to boarding school by a Roman Catholic family, his troubles were by no means over. Reaching his late teens, Phil, fell out with his foster family and decided to go it alone. This book gives an intriguing account of Phil's struggles against his handicap and coping with accommodation problems, financial chaos, an appearance in court and bankruptcy.
