B-movie auteur and legendary penny-pincher Jerry Warren offers up his trademark drive-in fare, with this double-feature, both of which are set in the jungle wilds. In the rarely-seen TERROR OF THE BLOODHUNTERS, artist Steven Duvall (Robert Clarke, GENERAL HOSPITAL, ALIENATOR) is arrested for his subversive writings and sent to the notoriously brutal penal colony, Devil's Island. Managing to escape with a friend, he must contend with the dangers of the jungle, which is filled with wild beasts and the deadly Jivaro headhunters. Then, LIANE, JUNGLE GODDESS (Marion Michael) is a tycoon's daughter who was raised in the jungle, free of all civilizing elements. Naked, winsome, and freespirited, she is discovered by an expedition and taken back to the city. There, our hero Thoren (Hardy Kruger, BARRY LYNDON) tries to tame the wild woman, and falls for her guileless charms. Their happiness is threatened only by the evil plot hatched by the jungle queen's nefarious relatives.
