A simulation of the professional basketball experience, Tecmo Super NBA Basketball features the entire rosters (except for Michael Jordan) of all of the 27 NBA teams from the 1992-'93 season. Each player is represented by his likeness and his abilities and stats. Beginning with preseason games and continuing through the regular season, the All-Star Game, and on to the NBA Finals, you can choose between four modes of play: Manual, which enables you to control an individual team; Coach, which turns the play calling (but not the actual playing) over to you; Computer, which gives all the controls to the computer; and Skip, where the results of a computer-played game are posted, without the game ever having taken place. Other options in this game include the ability to substitute for tired or unproductive players, adjust the speed of the game and look at instant replays.Product Identifiers
