Fully authorized by the Major League Baseball Players Association, Super Bases Loaded 3 features 700 actual Major League players. Player and team statistics and ratings are provided by STATS Inc., a nationally recognized sports statistics company. You or you and a friend can compete in a full 162 game season, an exhibition game, a championship tournament (it's not called the World Series because this game doesn't have a Major League Baseball license), and an MVP game. In each mode of play, there are three different stadiums to choose from. Just like in real baseball, you can lead-off and steal bases, use pinch hitters and pinch runners, change your batting stance, substitute players, walk intentionally, pick off runners, and allow a designated hitter to bat for the pitcher. A battery backup allows you to save your progress in season or tournament play.
