Farm Aid 2003, a Soundstage Special Event presented by Silk Soymilk, was filmed live on September 7, 2003 at Germaine Amphitheater in Columbus, Ohio, and televised on November 11th 2003 on PBS. Farm Aid was founded in 1985 by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp. Dave Matthews joined the board in 2001. Farm Aid's mission is to raise funds and awareness about the importance of family farming in America. Farm Aid works to keep family farmers on the land as producers of a fresh, healthy food supply for all.
