The Sony MEX-BT3000P in-dash receiver is a Bluetooth-enabled multifunctional stereo receiver designed for use in automobiles. This unit is a CD/MP3 in-dash receiver that combines disc-based media, digital media, and radio frequency playback options. The unit is Sirius Radio ready and Pandora capable, and can sync with BlackBerry and Android cellular phones. The Sony in-dash receiver holds a disc drive for playing disc-based media such as music CDs as well as an AM/FM tuner for receiving radio transmission. It also includes an iPod connection for digital file playback via an iPod or other compatible MP3-enabled devices. Calls on the Sony MEX-BT3000P in-dash receiver can be made using the car stereo with a compatible phone via the receiver’s Bluetooth capability. The tuner for this unit can hold up to 18 FM presets and 12 AM presets. The disc-based playback in this CD/MP3 in-dash receiver is compatible with CD, CD-R, and CD-RW formats. Disc-based sources can display CD-Text or ID3/WMA-tag information. The Sony in-dash receiver is FAT16/32-compatible for digital media with decoding for MP3, WMA, and AAC files. This Sony in-dash receiver also offers other features including a remote control and a built-in equalizer.
