The Sony HVRZ5U High Definition Handheld Camcorder is a compact HDV camcorder that enhances creativity and delivers the highest standard of optical and audio quality. Sony 'G Lens' is incorporated into HVRZ5U and gives excellent resolution, color, and contrast for breathtaking images that rival expensive interchangeable lenses. The HVRZ5U also features Sony's 3 ClearVid CMOS sensor system, using the technology of Exmor, to provide excellent low-light sensitivity. This makes achieving high-performance in limited light conditions easy. Sony's hybrid recording system incorporates an optional HVR-DR60 or HVR-MRC1K Memory Recording Unit, which allows simultaneous recording on tape and non-tape media. The hybrid recording system is also capable of simultaneous HD and SD recording.
