This Sony microphone has a contoured unidirectional polar pattern that controls the feedback with ease. The special construction of the Sony ECM-66B complements its electret condenser design, resulting in excellent transient response and thus better audio quality. Owing to a high sensitivity of -50 dB, this lavalier microphone is extremely receptive to loud sounds. With a frequency response of 70 Hz – 14 kHz, this Sony microphone effectively covers a wide spectrum of audible frequencies.
