The Sony SLT-A55V is a black coloured body only digital SLR camera. It has a 76.2-mm (3-inch) screen display size with a sensor resolution of 16.2 MP. The Sony camera body uses Translucent Mirror Technology DSLR that allows for simultaneous focusing and capture. It can capture 10 fps with fast autofocus capability. The Sony SLT-A55V 16.2 MP camera has Phase Detection auto-focus designed for when recording HD movies. The photographer can use both the LCD monitor and electronic viewfinder to compose and create shots. This allows a person to adjust features such as white balance, focus, depth of field, exposure, and framing accuracy. The Sony camera body features a CMOS sensor that helps to produce images that are detailed and rich in colour. The CMOS sensor works on both movies and still photos. The Sony camera body has a built-in BIONZ image processing engine that allows the photographer to record in full HD, perform advanced digital composition, and is able to handle high-speed continuous shooting.
