The Samsung VP-D103i video camera offers playback zoom, auto mode, and night capture abilities, as well as the option to add digital effects. A MiniDV camcorder, it also allows users to record directly onto a Memory Stick for greater versatility. MiniDV tapes are loaded from the bottom of the Samsung VP-D103i video camera. In addition, the nine digital special effects modes allow users to have fun while recording as well as enhance the final product. The Samsung camcorder offers onscreen menus that are controlled by adjusting the volume wheel, and users can connect to a PC via USB or FireWire connections. Other features in this Samsung camcorder include a built-in microphone and 16x optical zoom and 900x digital zoom for capturing close-up details over a distance.
