Parker Brothers' classic board game of world conquest makes its official Windows 3.1 debut with four play options and three difficulty settings. Up to six players, computer or human, alternate turns acquiring and defending 42 territories spread across six continents. The object is simple: eliminate all opponents by occupying every territory on the global map. Both long and short games are supported with a choice of U.S. or U.K. rules. Long games are structured similarly to the board game, while short games involve completing secret missions (U.K.) or conquering a rival's headquarters (U.S.). Missions and headquarters assignments are randomly dealt to players before the game begins. The first to accomplish the objective(s) is declared the winner. The Windows version features a single-screen global map as well as support for VGA graphics and Sound Blaster cards.
