The Pyramid PW1277X functions as a competition-grade 12-inch automotive subwoofer that is part of the power series by Pyramid. This one-way Pyramid car subwoofer is made of an injection-molded polypropylene cone material for flexibility and durability. The surrounding material is constructed of rubber, providing additional flexibility and durability. Furthermore, extended excursion for this Pyramid car subwoofer is delivered by a bumped and vented yoke plate. Some of the technical features for the Pyramid PW1277X include a voice coil diameter of 2 inches and an impedance of 4 Ohms. The voice coil is designed for high temperatures and works to properly distribute heat and vibrations to prevent the Pyramid car speaker from overheating during use. The stamped basket features a chrome finish for flair. In addition, this subwoofer offers an RMS power handling of 350 watts with a maximum power handling of 700 watts.
