The Pyramid 558G is an automotive speaker with an oval shape that measures 5 inches across the unit. Peak handling power for this Pyramid 5-inch car speaker is 60 watts when used individually, 120 watts per pair. This two-way automotive speaker holds a 5-inch woofer made up of a black poly-coated woofer cone. The speaker unit is designed to resist moisture and temperature extremes. Mounted on the Pyramid 558G woofer is a 1.75-inch pole mounted aluminum film tweeter. The unit uses a 1-inch high-temperature aluminum voice coil. The magnet structure for the Pyramid 5-inch car speaker is 40 oz. A sensitivity of 89 dB and an impedance of 4 Ohms are utilized by this two-way automotive speaker. Minimum frequency response for the unit is 90 Hz with a maximum frequency response of 18 kHz. Enclosure mounting depth for the Pyramid 5-inch car speaker is 1.87 inches. A pair of these speakers can be used as the primary speakers in a car stereo system or may be combined with secondary speakers such as subwoofer for enhanced sound output.
