In this Nintendo Game Boy video game, players assume the role of a 10-year-old Pokémon trainer. Players work to collect Pokémon of different kinds in Pocket Monsters Green and then train them, battling other Pokémon and characters as the game progresses. The player can work toward becoming a Master Pokémon trainer in this Nintendo Game Boy video game by collecting almost 100 different Pokémon. This Pocket Monsters Green role-playing game takes players on a journey from Pallet Town, where the player must choose one of three starter Pokémon at Professor Oak's laboratory, across the Kanto region, facing off against a rival character as well as the evil Team Rocket.
