With the NV-MX7 Panasonic is presenting a new megapixel digital camcorder which can double up as digital still camera. The megapixel CCD enables video recordings with a 520-line horizontal resolution and photo shots with 1.1 million pixels to be taken. The images can be recorded either on a multimedia card (8 MB supplied as standard) or on the innovative SD memory card, and subsequently transferred to a PC. In addition to the swivel-mounted color viewfinder, a 3 inch LCD monitor is available to facilitate picture composition.Life's cherished moments no longer have to fade. This digital camcorder ensures outstanding quality of moving images and stills. Thanks to the megapixel chip with 1, 020k pixels and the 520-line horizontal resolution, the video images are faithfully captured right down to the last detail. In photo shot mode, the images reach a resolution of 1, 080, 000 pixels. That's almost SXGA Standard!
