The film-speed dial on this Olympus camera acts as an exposure dial, which is unusual for a film camera of this age. The viewfinder on the Olympus 35mm SLR Film Camera Body is large, bright, and offers a split-prism that assists in focusing manually. The Olympus camera will measure light from a pattern off the shutter curtain, or the film, for longer exposures. The camera is known for its ability to accurately meter light and can do exposures up to two minutes. Two LR44 batteries are required in order to operate the Olympus 35mm SLR Film Camera Body without jamming the shutter.
