The Nikon Nikkor AF-S VR is a high performance, high speed telephoto lens that is ideal for producing extremely detailed and sharp photos. Equipped with a Nikon F-Bayonet mount, this Nikon camera lens is compatible with both 35 mm and digital SLR Nikon cameras. A Vibration Reduction system is built into this 300 mm f/2.8 lens and allows the lens to capture brighter, shaper images. The Vibration Reduction system on the Nikon Nikkor AF-S VR allows the f/2.8 speed shutter to operate at three shutter speeds lower than typically possible on most f/2.8 lenses. Three different extra-low dispersion glass elements are used on this Nikon camera lens to aid with image magnification, reduce chromatic aberration and protect the photo from internal reflections from outside light. This 300 mm f/2.8 lens has a focus present feature that allows the camera lens to automatically recall a programmed, pre-set focal point.
