NotesNaive Classique is delighted to present "Vivaldi: New Discoveries II", the world premiere recording of Vivaldi scores discovered in Europe in the past few years. Three years after the first recording dedicated to Vivaldi scores discovered between 2000 and 2007 throughout Europe, this new release conducted by Federico Maria Sardelli and featuring mezzo-soprano Ann Hallenberg, flautist Alexis Kissenko and violinist Anton Steck, will further contribute to complete one of the most fascinating jigsaw puzzles in musical history. F.M. Sardelli is the leader of this discovery process as he is now in charge of listing Vivaldi works for the Ryom catalogue (RV) and, since 2008, the harvest has been abundant enough to nourish a second volume of Vivaldian revelations, which reveals the strong interest there is in Vivaldi at present. The recording includes 3 major parts: A violin concerto, a flute concerto and 4 opera arias from L'inganno trionfante in amore, one of the most important lost scores of Vivaldi.
