Its 256-bit AES encryption security is one of the most impenetrable types of encryption method on offer and, combined with the 3DES encryption, it ensures your business data stays protected. The reliable NetGear hardware includes a dedicated and configurable hardware DMZ port, so that you can separate production data from guest traffic. The NetGear ProSafe FVS318G has one Gigabit WAN port and eight, Gigabit LAN ports as well as a built-in Wireless-N access point. These connectivity options ensure fast speeds that are up to 10 times faster than using the Ethernet. The QoS technology boosts the speed of the firewall, so that the client devices that consume the most bandwidth are prioritized. This improves the network rates overall. For secure remote access, the NetGear FVS318G has 12 dedicated IPSec VPN tunnels plus five SSL VPN tunnels. The VPNC certified device initiates up to eight IPSec tunnels simultaneously. Remote workers connect via the ProSafe VPN Client Professional Software. NAT routing allows for your broadband connection to have shared access.
