The Nakamichi RE 2 is a stereo receiver designed for use in home theater systems. The home stereo system offers up to 260 watts of power spread across two channels. The Nakamichi 260-watt receiver uses a minimum frequency response of 10 Hz. The maximum frequency response this stereo receiver can handle for during proper function is 50 kHz. Individual tone controls are present on the two-channel receiver. These controls include a bass control, for adjusting low-range audio output, and a treble control for adjusting high-range audio output. Front and rear speaker can connect to the Nakamichi RE 2. These speakers are labeled as speakers A or B and users can switch between using the front or rear speakers via the switching control. The Nakamichi 260-watt receiver has an internal radio tuner that receives AM and FM radio broadcasts. Users can preset up to 30 radio stations for quick access. An illuminated LCD screen on the two-channel receiver provides user a bright and easy to use display. This screen displays system information such as input or radio channel. Other features present on the Nakamichi 260-watt receiver include a remote, six audio inputs, a subwoofer input, three video inputs, and two video outputs. The dimensions of the stereo receiver from Nakamichi are 17 inch wide by 5.5 inches high by 11.75 inches deep.
