Based on Jules Verne's 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA, NADIA: SECRET OF THE BLUE WATER begins at The World's Fair in Paris, 1889. There, a young inventor named Jean meets a young woman named Nadia, who happens to have a pet lion. Almost immediately, the two are pursued by a trio of hoods who seem to be after a magical liquid known as the Blue Water. It seems that the necklace Nadia wears is a key to finding it, so Jean and Nadia set off on a journey through her past as they try to discover the secret behind the Blue Water.In these episodes, Jean and Nadia once again find themselves on board the Nautilus and in the company of Captain Nemo, who seems to know more about Nadia than he lets on. Meanwhile, Hanson and Sanson chase after the Gargoyle, hoping to save the ship from destruction.
