Product Information
This Large Print edition is an exact copy of the four books written by Sarah Gertrude Hyams (nee Brown) while she was in the 'In-The-Ray' nursing home in Maidenhead. Nothing has been altered or omitted. She was in the nursing home for a number of years, and as a therapy for her hands, she wrote these books. The originals are still in safe keeping. Her life was an example of courage and a fight against the painful and crippling disease of rheumatoid arthritis. She spent most of her later life in and out of hospitals, never complaining, always with a smile on her face and full of compassion for the suffering of others and for those children with the disease. She was willing to be used as a guinea pig for new drugs to help others.Product Identifiers
