As a researcher, she has made important contributions with her books: Apuntes desde el Destierro (1990); CUBA: Historia de la Educación Católica 1582-1961(1997); Con la Estrella y la Cruz: Historia de las Juventudes de Acción Católica Cubana (2002), y Niños que Triunfan - el Centro Mater, su historia y sus colaboradores (2008) all published by Ediciones Universal.
