Developer Canopy Games expands its garage containing in-line skates (Ultra Wheels Street Jam), motocross (Kawasaki Fantasy Motocross), and motorcycles (Harley-Davidson: Race Around the World) to include supercharged, nitrous oxide-propelled street racers in Midnight Outlaw: Illegal Street Drag. As the title suggests, the urban practice of betting on illegal drag races is the focus as you use earnings to continually upgrade your engine and challenge competitors for respect and reputation.<br><br>Race the city streets with modified engines and increase the class of competition as you build more powerful machines. Respect comes with performance, performance comes with upgrades, and upgrades come as a result of winning. The more respect you earn, the higher class of race you can enter. Bravado comes with a price, though, as you can lose your car if you can't cover a losing bet, or lose cash through police fines or by causing damage to an opponent's car.<br><br>Test Drive mode lets you evaluate vehicle performance by trying various upgrades, working on boost, shifting, and timing. The Hit the Streets mode gives you a list of competitors in your class along with their respect level, best times, and the amount of the wager. Midnight Outlaw: Illegal Street Drag supports keyboard, joysticks, gamepad controllers, and steering wheel peripherals, and offers multiplayer action on the Internet via GameSpy.Product Identifiers
