The story of General George S. Patton's greatest victory comes to life in this History Channel documentary detailing his use of the M-4 Sherman tank in a pivotal battle during World War II. The year was 1944. The Battle of the Bulge was raging, and the Germans were desperate for victory. On December 16th, they launched the Ardennes Offensive, a top secret offensive that caught the Allies completely off guard. Just as it appeared as if the Germans were gaining the upper hand, General Patton was called in to formulate a plan for victory. When the M-4 Sherman's came rolling in, the Allies once again gained the upper hand, striking a devastating blow to German morale and paving the way to victory the following year.
