"Lords of the Fallen" casts players in the role of Harkyn, a criminal who has been offered a unique deal: he'll be given a full pardon if he can defeat a demonic invasion. The Rhogar Lords are invading from an evil dimension and have all but destroyed humanity. Harkyn's duty is to close off the portal to the realm the Rhogar Lords come from. He must then eliminate the remaining creatures from the realm of humanity. Along the way, Harkyn will rally allies to his cause and eventually decide the entire fate of the world. "Lords of the Fallen" for the Microsoft Xbox One system was developed by CI Games and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It had a release date of 2014 in the United States. At the beginning of this Xbox One RPG, players will need to decide on a class for their character. The three character classes determine what weapons you are proficient in and what skills are available to you. The Warrior class focuses on face to face melee combat. This class specializes in heavy armor and giant two handed weapons. The Rogue character class concentrates on sneaking around and backstabbing enemies from behind. This class excels in attacking quickly from the dark with weapons such as daggers. The Cleric character class focuses on defense over offense. This class specializes in one handed weapons and small shields. "Lords of the Fallen" features highly tactical combat in an action game. In this Xbox One game, you must take the time to learn the patterns of your enemies before you attack. Blindly rushing in and swinging your sword will only end in defeat. To succeed in this game, you will need to learn when to parry attacks and when to dodge out of the way. In addition to a life gauge, you also have a stamina bar in this game. Your character initially can only swing his weapon in this Xbox One game a time or two before getting tired. Once your stamina bar is empty, you leave yourself open to a deadly attack. The world in this "Lords of the Fallen" game is massive, with players able to explore anything they can see. Hidden in the world are scrolls of information, which reveal more about the history of the Rhogar. You can also guide Harkyn to find scrolls of magic or a weapon hidden in a dark corner. This game was given a rating of M by the ESRB due to the gore, violence, and mature themes present in this title.
