Author BiographyKathleen Fordice Glasscock does not quite resemble a hobbit, though she is quite short, 4 ' 9 short, to be precise. (She adamantly refuses to use the word tall in regards to herself.) She does not qualify because her feet are far too small and not very hairy at all. A reformed Yankee-Yankee by birth, Southerner by the grace of God, she says-- she lives in Huntsville, Alabama, home of the U. S. Space and Rocket Center. She lives next door to her daughter and Yankee son-in-law, who they are trying to turn into a Southerner, as well. When she is not busy working as a nurse in a local jail, she delights in writing books for her grandchildren and others to enjoy. Look for her books, If You and I Were Tigers, as well as Let's Learn Fruits in English and Spanish, as well as her upcoming book, The Good Geek's Guide to Terrific Tigers.
