The 2.75-inch midrange on this Kenwood 6x9-inch car speaker has a water-resistant paper cone for a warmer vocal range. A 0.56-inch PET semi-dome tweeter, 0.81-inch PET dome supertweeter, and a 0.38-inch ceramic supertweeter fill out the driver complement of this Kenwood 6x9-inch car speaker. Kenwood's Image Enhancer 4 construction blends and focuses the sounds produced by the midrange and tweeters to reduce distortion as well as to create wider dispersion and smoother vocals. The Kenwood KFC-6994PS five-way automotive speaker is rated for 2 to 120 watts RMS and has a peak power rating of 500 watts.
