NotesHaunting, beautiful, intense, emotional... These are the adjectives commonly used to describe the music of Victoria Love. Her Lebanese background brings a dark, Middle Eastern edge to her songs. The violins reflect Gypsy Noir, while heavy electric guitars and industrialesque grooves are reminiscent of bands like Tool and Nine Inch Nails. Lay all of this over vocals and acoustic guitar inspired by the likes of PJ Harvey and Ani DiFranco, and you have something familiar yet very original. A native of Houston, Texas, Victoria Love has spent a lifetime surrounding herself with music. She began singing at the age of six and has since picked up the guitar, bass, drums, and piano to find new ways to express herself. To her it isn't just art, it's a calling, and you can hear this purpose in the passion and the pain of every note. Victoria Love has just released her EP 'just breathe' a preview of the full length album 'Ataraxis'. She is still in the production stages of this album at Neurotic Artist Studios in Austin, TX with Producer James 'Roz' Rosnack. Victoria Love is also the founder of 'Elle Acoustique', a celebration of women in music.
