Product Information
The Hard Drive Lock is a write-protection device that is used to prevent inadvertent disk data write operations from occurring. It is physically connected inline with the data and control path between a host computer or ICS Image MASSter system, and an IDE disk drive. The device is capable of providing information about its presence to the Image MASSter. A series of host commands are used to detect that the device is connected in-circuit. Software detection is not required for normal operation; however, detection by the Image MASSter can provide greater flexibility to the user.Product Identifiers
