Product Information
The Intel Xeon 3.33 GHz Quad-Core Processor is a 64-bit member of the cloud architecture microprocessors designed for storage and network communication capacity. Quad-core processors are designed to support heavy computational and visualization personal computer (PC) workloads. This microprocessor comes with four cores (computing components) and four threads for information processing and energy conservation. The Intel Xeon X5470 is a 64-bit processor fitted with several well-known Intel features: Intel® VT-x with Extended Page Tables (a.k.a. Second Level Address Translation), Virtualization Technology (VT-x), and SpeedStep®. This technology was designed to deliver microprocessor performance while consuming less power in the process. The Intel Xeon 3.33 GHz Quad-Core Processor also features demand-based switching, thermal monitoring, and an option-to-disable bit. The Intel Xeon X5470 is built with 12 Megabytes (two strips of 6 MB each) of L2 cache memory and an LGA771 CPU socket. The Intel Xeon 3.33 GHz Quad-Core Processor was launched in 2008 but was discontinued on May 21, 2010. However, shoppers can still locate used inventory online.Product Identifiers
