In Jaleco's The Ignition Factor, it's your duty to enter burning buildings, rescue the victims inside, and determine the cause of the blaze. Before each level, you attend a briefing where you review a map of the building and select what equipment to carry inside. Your choice of gear includes a chemical fire extinguisher, electrical fire extinguisher, oxygen tank, rope and an axe. A standard fire extinguisher is always included in your inventory. You can hold up to five items, but carry too many and you'll be so weighted down that you can't run or kick.<br><br>Once inside the building, you must make your way through the labyrinthine hallways, putting out the flames in your path while rescuing trapped occupants and finding valuable items that can be saved. You have a limited supply of health, which is decreased when you touch flames or fall through weakened floors. And it won't be long before the building becomes unsafe, so you'll need to move as quickly as possible.
