H!ZONE for Hexen and Heretic is a compilation of 250 user made levels and twelve brand new episodes of Raven Software's medieval shooter. Driven by a button-based interface, you can select single-player or deathmatch-ready levels to play at random, input your on-line name, set difficulty settings and load-up user made graphics and weapons (known as a PWADs). There are also options to set random light levels, weapons, items, lighting effects and floors -- the interface allows you to modify many different aspects of Heretic and its sequel Hexen.<br><br>When you're not chugging through random levels or tackling the new episodes, you can utilize the included interface to find Internet/modem games and connect to servers. There's even a personal skill meter that reflects how good you are. If you're the sadistic type, you can give yourself a low rating and challenge an unsuspecting newbie. Imagine their surprise when you unleash a furious flurry of strafing maneuvers and unprecedented aiming skills! In addition to the map, you can also select frag limits, time limits or both.<br><br>Once you've completed all 250 levels and conquered the new dozen episodes, you can use an import feature that converts Doom, Doom II and Heretic levels into Hexen. Doing this will update the aforementioned games with the new and improved 3D texturing found on this CD. H!ZONE for Hexen and Heretic also features enhanced coding that makes gameplay a bit smoother for those without a high-end computer.
