The HP X20LED series monitor is a reasonably sized monitor packed with many features. Its 20-inch screen size supports 1600x900 native resolution (60Hz) at 16:9 aspect ratio, which allows for clear, crisp and vivid displays of 720p videos. Like most LCD monitors with 1920x1080 or 1080p resolutions, this monitor’s aspect ratio is resizable to 16:10 for more screen real estate. The 1600x900 TN panel ensures a reasonable response time of 5ms for lag-free gaming. The screen’s anti-glare feature reduces eyes strains and headaches often associated with prolonged exposure to monitor radiations, especially during excessive gaming or when watching movies. This 1600x900 CRT monitor uses white LED backlighting, a more efficient technology that uses up less electricity and allows for a lower operating cost compared with LCD screens. This HP X20LED 1600x900 monitor panel offers a 170-degree horizontal and 160-degree vertical viewing angles, a benefit that is often found in 1920x1080 IPS monitors. The OSD allows you to adjust the screen’s information, brightness, contrast, and dynamic contrast ratio. Choosing the Eco Mode adjusts the options into Standard Mode while the autokey function automatically fine-tunes the backlit display, clock, size and phase whenever a new video mode is displayed, eliminating the need to search and apply these options when necessary. The HP X20LED 1600x900 monitor is a plug and play device and does not take up your RAM space. It works with any Windows operating software and desktop computers. Just connect the VGA or DVI-D cable to the computer and plug the power cable to a power source and your CPU detects it automatically. The CD included in the monitor hardware and accessories box contains drivers and software that you use to install digitally signed monitor drivers for better compatibility.
