Dual ports are equipped with the HP 300 GB Hard Drive, enabling it to operate at a speed of 6 Gbps rather than the standard 3 Gbps, also preventing the hard drive from malfunctioning in the event that one of the ports experiences a failure. The SAS HP 300 GB Hard Drive features a serial attachment SCSI interface that allows it to be combined with standard 3 Gbps SAS drives, as well as 1.5/3G SATA drives for flexibility in storage configurations within the unit. The HP DG0300FAMWN internal hard drive has an average seek time of 4 ms, with single-track seek times of just 0.2 ms. This 10K RPM HP 300 GB Hard Drive measures 0.6 inches high by 2.7 inches wide and operates at temperatures between 50 degrees and 95 degrees F.
