Once you enter your destination, the Garmin nuvi 1200 GPS will provide voice-prompted, turn-by-turn directions that will get you to your destination quickly. This GPS device also speaks the street names (text-to-speech) so you will never have to take your eyes off the road. The Garmin nuvi 1200 GPS has software for HotFix satellite prediction, which calculates your position, and can help you avoid traffic and get to your destination faster.
