Espanol a la Vista is for year 10 and 11 students working towards GCSE or equivalent exams. The four modules are sequenced to resource the revised SEG modular syllabus, but the content coverage and activities are also suitable for other syllabuses, including Standard Grade. There is provision for differentiation in the four-page units, which is further developed in the Copymaster Book. There are also special sections which focus on: selected skills - such as dictionary use and using the telephone; grammar practice; extended reading practice; and project-based coursework. The Teacher's Book contains suggestions on maximizing use of Spanish in class, using IT, guidance for assessment, and a full tapescript in addition to detailed teaching notes. The Copymaster Book (Hojas Extras) has worksheets for extension activities, grammar practice, vocabulary development, and assessment at Foundation and Higher level. The three cassettes contain a full range of recordings, including sample examination assessment material.
