Several parents, after a lighthearted exchange of opinion on the subject, came to the conclusion that they really knew precious little about the kind of education they wanted for their children. They agreed in so far as their expectations were high and their hopes sincere, but they were unable to settle on anything specific. It seemed like a good idea to pursue the matter.
