It is a great adventure as Dr. Dolittle talks to the animals in the classic children's movie of the same name. The doctor could talk to lions, tigers, monkeys, and all their animal friends when he was a boy, and he is able to do it again as an adult after he is in a car accident. He is overwhelmed by all the sick animals. To start with, there is an injured owl, depressed lion, and drunken monkey who need his help. His life gets worse when his wife finds out what he is doing.
