In this screwball comedy, John Dodge (Grammer) is not the typical officer, but a brilliant and unorthodox superior who has always wanted to command a nuclear submarine. His skills are tested when he is given an older submarine with a misfit crew and then tagged as the 'enemy' in a war game.
