NotesUK compilation of vintage tracks overseen by legendary Detroit Soul producer Dave Hamilton. Though there are several great up tempo tracks on this CD, we have changed the title from Dancers to Soul as this isn't solely Northern Soul - there are ballads, Funk and other sides of Dave's production work evident. Three tracks by Harry Reid, Charmaine and Frenchy & the Chessmen from Dave's first label Temple show off his earliest productions. The last Topper label sides to be reissued are Priscilla Page's quaint 'Sho Be Doo Be' and the 45 remix of her 'I'm Pretending'. from a slightly later period comes the 45 version of JT Rhythm's 'My Sweet Baby' which is quite different from the master tape we have already issued.
