Released in 2010, "Dark is the Way, Light is a Place" gets more layered with a clean pop vibe from Grammy-winning producer Brendan O'Brien. Anberlin makes this record sound a little more polished than usual. As the band is part Christian rock, part secular rock, this album peaked at #1 on the Christian charts and #9 on the coveted Billboard 200 chart that is open to all genres. The album's biggest winning songs were "Closer" and "Impossible." The ballad "Take Me (As You Found Me)" is a crowd pleaser. "Dark is the Way, Light is a Place" was recorded in just 5 weeks at Blackbird Studios in Nashville. This is an original pressing on 180-gram vinyl.
