In Dante's Inferno, players wield a giant scythe as they move from area to area defeating enemies. There are also a number of cultural allegories in this action video game. Even though the focus of the game is action, the overall goal of Dante's Inferno for PS3 is to save the woman Dante loves. The quality of the movie cut scenes and animated exchanges provide some depth in Dante's Inferno. There are enough power-ups and other items to help make Dante's Inferno for PS3 an interesting game for even the most experienced gamers.
